I’ve been fiddling away on this small painting for a while, it’s quite a different subject matter for me and my first oil painting in roughly 15 years. As the title suggests, it has been a welcome change in intensity and pace for me, and was quite enjoyable to work on!
Update: This received the Highly Commended award in the painting category at the 2022 Hornsby Art Prize!
